Scott Disick seems to be struggling with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's relationship, and their recent engagement (open in new tab) has done nothing to smooth things over for the former couple.

As the father of the Kardashian's three children, Disick has long been a fixture in the reality TV star's family - even while the two were separated - but that is changing now that Barker is in the picture.

"The Kardashians (opens in new tab) dote on Scott and say he's part of the family no matter what, but he feels very distant and more outcast than ever," a source told Us Weekly (opens in new tab).

"He's not a fan of the family.

"He has avoided family gatherings where Travis (opens in new tab) is present and has even refused to be in the same room with him," the source adds." The source adds, "It's safe to say the holidays are going to be rough this year and it's going to be a battle over the kids.

For Disick, it sounds like things weren't really over for him and Kardashian, but her engagement apparently watered down that notion a bit. "Scott never approved of Kourtney dating Travis," a source previously told People (open in new tab). 'He was troubled by their relationship. He always had the idea that he and Courtney would eventually get back together. When he found out she was seeing Travis, he was pretty shocked."
