Emma Watson surprised by her first red carpet appearance since 2019

Emma Watson is back! Until this past weekend, the actress and activist had not been seen on the red carpet since the premiere of 2019's Little Women (opens in new tab). For her big comeback, Watson chose the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Earthshot Awards (opens in new tab) ceremony at Alexandra Palace in London.

To this end, Watson chose her outfit very carefully, settling on a stunning piece by Harris Reed (open in new tab), a designer who places identity and gender fluidity at the center of her work. Her outfit consisted of a white asymmetrical gown/tunic of tulle and lace with flared black pants.
