Britney Spears did in her latest Instagram post (opens in new tab). She posted a video of her trying on various outfits, including a newsboy cap like the one she wore in the early 90s. It was also the look that the actress in the Justin Timberlake (opens in new tab) video was wearing to try to be reminiscent of Spears.

"I was thinking while making this video: ...... Hmmm, something looks familiar: ...... That hat: ...... Wait, I look like the girl in the Justin Timberlake video with that hat from Cry Me a River! Sheesh, that's me! Am I Britney Spears? I forget sometimes ... . ." wrote Spears.

Fans were completely enamored with the star's shady brand of humor. "We love the reference to calling Justin," one wrote." Omg, the queen of shade," someone else said.

This isn't the first time Spears has mentioned her ex on social media. In her Instagram video, Spears not only transformed into a fake 2002 version, but also replaced various parts from her outfit and added a white coat.
