Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly say they couldn't see each other's faces when they first met.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly... It's complicated, but we have to admit we're enamored with their energy. The couple is back with something even stranger in a joint interview in the latest British GQ Style (opens in new tab).

Fox and Kelly (open in new tab) described the first time they met, except they never really met. They spoke at a GQ party in LA a few years ago, but they couldn't seem to see each other's faces. Before you ask: No, this is not a metaphor.

"A strange thing happened. We couldn't see each other's faces." Then she asked Kelly." Do you remember seeing my face?"

.

Then her boyfriend (open in new tab) replied, "I don't remember. I don't remember. I don't remember what you look like."

OK, this isn't exactly a crazy story, is it, a glamorous party with hundreds of grade A to Z celebrities, where there was probably lots of champagne flowing late into the night.

"I don't remember your face... And I definitely would have remembered his face," Fox continued. 'I remember a tall, blond, ghostly creature. He looked down at me and said, 'I'm a leaf. Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja wrapped in a smoke bomb." Okay.

Here's where it gets more bizarre and romantic. I don't think we were allowed to meet yet," Fox hypothesized. 'Because we literally didn't have faces, like in Spirited Away. Because you were literally faceless, like that thing in Spirited Away. It's hard to see faces in general, but that night you were truly expressionless. What a torture it must have been to have you there and not be able to get close to you. I would have preferred not to know."

The "real" first time they met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020, when their faces came together. Since then, the two have been dating (opens in new tab) and doing things with each other's tongues.
