Actors playing young Harry and William in "Spencer" look alike

"Spencer," the film starring Kristen Stewart about Princess Diana, is finally in theaters. From the dreamy trailer (opens in new tab) to the rave reviews (opens in new tab), the film appears to do justice to the nation's princess (even if some members of the royal family are reportedly less than pleased (opens in new tab) with this portrayal). This is because Stewart posed on the red carpet with the two young actors who will play Prince William and Prince Harry, and they looked exactly like they did in real life when they were children.

Directed by Pablo LarraĆn (who also directed the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis biopic "Jackie," starring Natalie Portman), the film depicts events at Sandringham House, the royal estate in Norfolk, England, on the weekend around Christmas 1991 The film depicts the events at Sandringham House, the royal estate in Norfolk, England, on a weekend around Christmas 1991. It also depicts the events leading up to Princess Diana's decision to divorce Prince Charles; according to IMDB (opens in new tab), Prince William is played by Jack Nealen, a 12-year-old British actor. Freddie Spry, who plays Harry, is 10 years old and was previously (open in new tab) a child judge on "Lego Masters."

Stewart has spoken in interviews about how taxing it was to prepare for the performance (including hiring a dialect coach) and even said that she felt "eerie and spiritual feelings" during filming and felt "endorsed" by Diana to play her.

Whatever she did, it seems to be working: she is already getting Oscar buzz for the film. Spencer opens in theaters on November 5.
