Angelina Jolie (opens in new tab) and The Weeknd (opens in new tab) (aka Abel Tesfaye) were spotted together for a 2.5 hour dinner at Jorge Baldi in Santa Monica this past weekend, and people are starting to suspect they are seriously dating People are beginning to suspect that they are seriously dating. Jolie and Tesfaye arrived separately, but the Daily Mail (opens in new tab) published a photo of them leaving together in the singer's SUV before heading to his house.

This is the second time the celebrities have been spotted together at Giorgi Baldi; the first was on June 30, when a source told Page Six (opens in new tab) at the time that the fact that they were so public probably means they are not romantic . 'They're obviously not trying to hide [the dinner date],' the source said. 'He's definitely focused on getting into the film industry. There's a new HBO series he's in." That series is "Idol."

Shortly thereafter, a source told The Sun (opens in new tab) that Jolie and Tesfaye had been talking for some time. 'Ange has been in touch with Abel for a while and he was in New York at the same time as her and the kids. They had a private lunch together." She took Pax with her because he was a big fan, and they hit it off very well, and he was obviously thrilled."

Putting the dating rumors in perspective, the source added, " They are just friends, but who knows if they might get to know each other better in the future." He has made no secret of his great love for her.

Later, according to the Daily Mail (opens in new tab), they were "spotted on another secret date" at a private concert in LA.

That's why this latest dinner has newly set tongues wagging, but clearly Jolie and Tesfaye could be friends, or even business partners. We can only wait and see.
