Kate Hudson is engaged! She announced the happy news through an Instagram photo (opens in new tab) in which she says "yes" to her musician partner Danny Fujikawa, smiling blissfully and almost kissing him. Hudson holds his hand to Fujikawa's chest to show his engagement ring, and the background is a cloudy seaside.

The caption reads "Let's go!" and is accompanied by pictographs of the bride and groom and a church. Gwyneth Paltrow wrote, "LETS DO THIS." Zoey Dutch wrote, "Aww congratulations!" and Octavia Spencer congratulates the marriage only if she trusts that all is well (opens in new tab).

Hudson and Fujikawa began dating in 2016 and, according to Us Weekly (opens in new tab), had a daughter, Lani Rose, in 2018.

"My mom always told me, 'Don't let a man turn off your light,'" Hudson told People (opens in new tab) when she shared the cover (which also has little Lani) with mom Goldie Hawn. 'So I never defined myself by how men saw me. That's what my mom gave me."
