James Middleton has married! The Duchess of Cambridge's brother welcomed his French partner, financial analyst Alizee Thevenet, as his lawful wife this weekend.

The entrepreneur and animal lover shared a sweet photo of himself and his new bride on Instagram (opens in new tab), with a cameo appearance by one of their many dogs in the background. 'Mr. and Mrs. Middleton,' he wrote. 'I married the love of my life yesterday in the beautiful village of Borum les Mimosas, surrounded by family, friends, and of course a few dogs. Words cannot express how happy I am."

According to Page Six (opens in new tab), Kate Middleton (opens in new tab), Prince William (opens in new tab), and children George (opens in new tab), Charlotte (opens in new tab), Louis (opens in new tab) ) all flew to France to attend the wedding. Kate and James' sister Pippa Middleton also attended, as did her husband and two children, and their parents, Carol and Mike Middleton.

James Middleton, an avowed sufferer of depression (opens in new tab), combines his two passions, dogs and supporting people's mental health, as an ambassador for Pets As Therapy (opens in new tab). Middleton and Tevnet (or should I say Middleton and Middleton) were supposed to get married earlier, but COVID (open in new tab). The groom shared a photo of their vacation in Italy on Instagram last summer, writing, "It's been a year since I asked Alizee to marry me ...... What a year it's been, two houses ...... . door to door ..... .two wedding challenges, the birth of [the dog], 新会社@ella.coの立ち上げ, shaving, and so much more, but the best part is sharing it with @alizeethevenet."
