Happy birthday, Shari Johnson-Jefferson! Rizzo's mother celebrated her special day in style, thanks to her very thoughtful daughter.

In a video posted on her Instagram (opens in new tab), Rizzo followed her mother into the walk-in closet (opens in new tab) and said, "Wow, this place is set up nice!" Johnson Jefferson says, "It really is!" I reply.

Then Rizzo (opens in new tab) took me on a tour of the closet. She says, "Look at these clothes!" She says to her mother. 'You love these clothes, don't you?' That's when Johnson Jefferson visibly begins to get emotional. She then walks through the closet, takes a closer look at the clothes, and says, "Wow!" I said.

Then Johnson Jefferson says, "I don't look like a bum anymore!"

he quips. Rizzo agrees! Right in front of my eyes!" They both laugh.

A fashion show begins as Johnson-Jefferson models her new outfit while sipping birthday-appropriate bubbly.

In the caption, Rizzo explains why the clothes mean so much to her and her mother: "Ever since Dad died, you said it was hard to dress nice for yourself. Ever since Dad died, you've always said it's hard to dress nice for yourself. Happy birthday, Mom. It's time to fly, thanks @jasonrembert."
