Tom Holland comments fiercely on Zendaya's Instagram
Zendaya was busy this month at the Venice International Film Festival promoting "Dune" (with Timothée Chalamet and Oscar Isaac). And there was no Tom Holland, rumored to be her love interest, by her side on that red carpet. But before you think anything untoward happened, the famously private duo showed via Instagram that they are still on fire.
On Friday, Zendaya posted several shots of herself wearing the glorious wet-look Balmain dress she wore on the Venice red carpet, and Tom left a simple but straightforward comment about the photo: three fire emojis.
We couldn't agree more, Tom! [Holland and Zendaya have been dating since 2015, when they co-starred in "Spider-Man: Homecoming," which was released a few years later in 2017. Zendaya was cast as Mary Jane (or M.J.), and although their characters did not connect in that film, there is speculation that they did. However, Holland and Zendaya continued to deny their romance for years, insisting that they were only platonic friends and very close.
It ...... until this summer when "Page Six" published a steamy photo of the two making out in a car in L.A. (opens in new tab). While this is not an official announcement of a relationship, it is a pretty good indicator that something is afoot, no' and since the cat is half out of the bag anyway, it seems the two feel more comfortable showing affection for each other in the main.
For example, Tom posted this Instagram post on Zendaya's birthday:
The text accompanying a photo of Zendaya cuddling up to Holland in a spider suit read, "My M.J., have the happiest birthday. Call me when you wake up." Zendaya commented on the post with a heart emoji and said, "I'll call you right now."
This all just screams PDA to us, but of course until the couple actually says so, the relationship remains speculative - albeit a very steamy speculation.
