In case you needed a little visual reminder that Katie Holmes is the fashion icon we need and perhaps don't deserve, the actress and producer recently attended Vacheron Constantin's New York flagship store opening (opens in new tab) in an outfit that may become as iconic as her unforgettable cardigan/bra moment (opens in new tab).

The New York Fashion Week (opens in new tab) event (opens in new tab) opened in the last few days, but it was no laughing matter for Holmes. She showed up in an ankle-length black dress with lace-up halter straps. She left the black button-up open like a cool-girl and dressed the whole thing down with white sneakers.

Holmes wore her hair half up and beautiful makeup with rosy cheeks, lipstick, and glittery eye shadow. Even though I know how much thought and effort went into this look, I can't help but notice how great she already looks when she gets out of bed. I sigh with jealousy.

When she posted a dreamy series of photos on Instagram (opens in new tab) of herself in a Vacheron Constantin event look, her followers were all in awe. Patti Smith wrote, "Beautiful inside and out," and Alyssa Milano (opens in new tab) called Holmes "GORGEOUS."

Of course, since we are talking about Katie Holmes during NYFW (open in new tab), there are already plenty of photos of her in more beautiful outfits than before, each while attending many glamorous events.
