Britney Spears' Boyfriend Sam Asgari Spotted Looking at Rings at Cartier

Britney Spears has had an unimaginably difficult few years, but happy news may be on the way for the star. Boyfriend Sam Asgari was recently spotted at Cartier's Beverly Hills store looking at a display of rings, and in photos obtained by Page Six (opens in new tab), Asgari appears to be engrossed in the display and is even seen taking photos for future consideration

"Britney and Sam aren't engaged yet, but he's been talking more and more about popping the question lately," a source told Page Six.

"Sam wants to spoil Britney with a very special, over-the-top, meaningful proposal when the time is right. He dreams of one day becoming a dad himself, and of course Britney has always wanted to have more children, especially now that they are getting older."

Spears and Asgari met while filming a music video (open in new tab) in 2016, but their relationship has suffered considerably due to Spears' conservatorship. Page Six's source continued, "Sam hates seeing Britney unable to make her own decisions and honestly doesn't care for her father because of it." 'The conservatorship has limited their relationship in many ways from the beginning. Even though they've wanted to take the next step for a while now, Britney and Sam know it would be a lot easier if she wasn't as constrained as she is now. But we are certainly making steady progress toward an engagement."
