Ben Affleck has been hanging out a lot with Jennifer Lopez and her kids (open in new tab) lately, but one family member who has yet to be spotted following the couple's adventures is Lopez's mother Lupe Rodriguez (open in new tab). But Rodriguez clearly recognizes her daughter's rekindled love. That's because she has agreed to make a super cute cameo in Affleck's new commercial (opens in new tab) for betting platform WynnBET.

In the extended cut, directed by Affleck herself, Affleck goes to the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas with Melvin Gregg, the star of "Nine Perfect Strangers" (opens in new tab), to place a sports bet. Once at the Wynn, Affleck and Gregg go their separate ways. Affleck runs into several people commenting on which teams to bet on and which teams not to bet on.

Then a very energetic woman runs between the slot machines and says, "Lupe, you can do it! Just like the spot in St. Louis." That Lupe is, you guessed it, J-Lo's mother herself. Affleck repeated, "St. Louis?" he repeats, shrugging his shoulders and hinting that he thinks it might be a good idea for a bet.

Shaquille O'Neal appears and overhears Affleck calling Miami "terrible." Turning around and seeing the disapproving look on O'Neal's face, Affleck quickly retorts. 'It's terrible now. 'It used to be great, you know, when Shaq was playing. Later, the actors went to the sports book, still discussing the ins and outs of sports betting.

Affleck's use of Rodriguez in the commercial feels like a meaningful gesture. Especially since he was recently spotted looking at an engagement ring (opens in new tab) with his own mother and is rumored to be considering marrying Lopez (opens in new tab). What is certain is that family is very important to both of them.
