Cameron Diaz turned 49 on August 30, and husband Benji Madden jumped at the opportunity to congratulate her. Madden, whose Instagram bio (open in new tab) lists him as "husband/father/brother/worker/painter/maker/friend" (he includes many things), celebrated the former actress' (open in new tab) birthday by Instagramming (open in new tab) one of his paintings He shared.

He wrote, "Happy birthday to my wife, you are beautiful in every way, we are so lucky to have you [...]. I love you @camerondiaz" and captioned it "I love you @camerondiaz, what you do for the ones you love everyday who you are, always true blue- hard to put it all in an IG post, but I would love to have a reason to say it out loud.

Madden's brothers had sweet words for their sister-in-law. Joel Madden, who is married to Nicole Richie, wrote, "The best @camerondiaz" along with three red hearts. Josh Madden commented, "brightest loveliest light @camerondiaz."

This is not the first time Benji Madden has used his art to send a sweet message to his wife. On Mother's Day, he captioned one of his paintings (opens in new tab), "My religion is family and my mother is God. You take care of us and nurture us.
