Britney Spears has had a really bad few years (opens in new tab), despite appearances, but luckily she has found some solace in her boyfriend, Sam Asgari. In a recent Instagram post (opens in new tab), Spears praised Asgari's many qualities.

"Not only has this cutie a**hole been with me through some of the most difficult years of my life, he just happens to be a very good cook!" she wrote, captioning a sweet selfie of them together." Don't miss the next star of the Wild Speed franchise!" The boyfriend commented, "Yes F that a**hole," along with a crying smile emoji.

Spears also mentioned Asgari as part of a story she recently told on Instagram (opens in new tab) about being trapped in a bathroom. In that story, she called for her sleeping boyfriend to help her out of the bathroom, but he could not open the door and had to call security.

Spears and Asgari (personal trainer, founder of Asgari Fitness (open in new tab), occasional actor (open in new tab)) have been dating since 2016. They met while filming the singer's "Slumber Party" music video.

In February 2021, Asgari mentioned his girlfriend Hosa (opens in new tab) and the "Free Britney (opens in new tab)" movement in an interview with People (opens in new tab). He added, "And I will continue to support her in pursuing her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves. I thank her for all the love and support she has received from fans around the world and look forward to walking with her into a normal and wonderful future."

The singer's father, Jamie Spears, recently agreed to eventually step down (open in new tab) from his role as her conservator. His daughter has waged a long legal battle to remove herself from the conservatorship agreement altogether. Things began to move in her favor when she was allowed to choose her own attorney (opens in new tab).

The attorney she chose, Mathew Rosengart, said, "I look forward to continuing my vigorous investigation into the conduct of Mr. Spears and others during the past 13 years while they have taken millions of dollars from his daughter's estate, and I look forward to taking Mr. Spears' deposition in the near future.
