Reese Witherspoon has been generous in showing off her life with her two children, Ava and Deacon (opens in new tab), that she had with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The actress posted a sweet family photo on Instagram (opens in new tab), where she turns to the camera with a giant open-mouthed smile and wraps her children one arm around each other.

To her left is 21-year-old Eva (opens in new tab), a famous copy of her mother (opens in new tab), happily hopping around with one leg and both arms in the air. To her right is 17-year-old Deacon (opens in new tab). He is trying to stand up straight, but failing a bit thanks to the antics of his mother and sister.

"After all... Being a goofball is genetic!" Witherspoon (open in new tab) captioned the photo, which appears to have been taken while on vacation, with the ocean and palm trees in the background.

The photo is probably several weeks old, as Witherspoon posted a selfie with Eva on July 22 that appears to have been taken the same day. The photo simply read "My girl" and was accompanied by a red heart emoji. Still, there is nothing wrong with a good #latergram.

The children's father also shared a vacation photo with Deacon, taken during a recent trip to New Mexico. The actor wrote in the caption of a series of beautiful photos from McCauley Warm Springs, "The rocky uphill hike was worth the baptism of warm woods that followed." In the photos, he and Deacon are swimming and admiring the scenery, bonding as father and son. They look like they're having a great time.
