Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle may co-star in Netflix project
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle (opens in new tab) are in a great place.
According to a new report in Us Weekly (opens in new tab), the royal sisters-in-law have been talking more and more lately, and some of it seems to be business-related.
"Meghan and Kate are actually very close and are in frequent contact," a source told the magazine. Meghan is in talks with her about collaborating on a project for Netflix, a documentary that would highlight Kate's charity work and the huge impact she has made with her philanthropic efforts."
If this project actually comes to fruition, it will likely be part of Meghan and Prince Harry's deal with Netflix (opens in new tab). It is not clear if Kate would really go ahead with the idea, but royal sources say she is considering it.
"Kate is very honored and everything is very positive between them," the source explained.
In April, Harry and Meghan released their first documentary for Netflix (opens in new tab), Heart of Invictus.
"Since the first Invictus Games in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute to the mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve in their own exceptional way," Harry shared in a press release shared by the Invictus Games Foundation upon the series announcement (in new tab open in a new tab) explained. "The series will provide a window for communities around the world to tell the inspiring and uplifting stories of the competitors as they head to the Netherlands next year. "Archewell Productions, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, and Netflix as its first series, I couldn't be more excited about the journey ahead and proud that the Invictus community continually inspires healing, human potential and continued service in the world."
