Kaley Cuoco is making the most of the August sunshine. The actress was recently spotted wearing a gorgeous yellow gingham sundress on the set of the romance film "Meet Cute," which is currently filming in New York City. The midi-length dress was cinched at the waist and had short, billowing sleeves. Cuoco paired it with white sneakers, mirrored sunglasses, and a beige shoulder bag, and is currently sporting classic bangs.

Cuoco can't stand the heat and can be seen in many of the day's photos holding a portable blue fan to her face; according to ABC7NY (opens in new tab), New York is currently experiencing a rather severe heat wave.

Aside from the extreme heat, Cuoco seems to be really enjoying filming "Meet Cute." The Daily Mail (opens in new tab) reported that the actress is sharing laughs with the film team.

Cuoco is co-starring with Pete Davidson, and from what I can tell, the two appear to be best friends. Last week she was photographed laughing hysterically and he smiled back at her.

Cuoco also apparently sings "Higher Love" to distract Davidson at the most inopportune times while he memorizes his lines. She wrote on Instagram Stories last week, "Annoying Peter while he's studying has become my favorite pastime." I love this dynamic between them.

"Meet Cute" is a "time-travel rom-com" whose plot is very current and poignant. According to Slash Films (opens in new tab), it follows the characters of Cuoco and Davidson, a couple who "gain the ability to return to the past, giving them the opportunity to heal past traumas and problems and make each other the perfect partners for life.
