In a new Instagram post, Britney Spears told fans that she plans to cut back on her social media posts in the future. She cited the media spreading lies about her as the reason for stepping back and quoted lyrics from Selena Gomez's "Kill Em With Kindness" in the caption to illustrate her point.

An Instagram video posted to chef Jake Cohen's account (opens in new tab) shows him making avocado toast. He elaborately slices half an avocado and places it on a toasted sourdough in a pan, topping it with sriracha, rock salt, lemon zest, and chives in a spiral pattern. Gomez was clearly eager to try the dish and said, "I love you, @britneyspears, and I'll cook with you anytime!"

The petition alleged that Britney Spears "continues to suffer ongoing daily emotional, psychological, and financial harm while Mr. Spears remains as conservator of the estate."
