Like many of us, Princess Diana turned to astrology when life got confusing. She regularly consulted astrologer Debbie Frank (opens in new tab) in an attempt to understand what was happening with Prince Charles. According to Town & Country (opens in new tab), Frank said, "She was going through a very difficult time in her marriage. 'She felt trapped in something that wasn't what it seemed. She was a young girl who needed guidance and help to control her feelings more than anything else. I think she felt very helpless at the time.

Frank explained that the Prince of Wales and his ex-wife (open in new tab) were "really quite different" and that their constellations were at odds when it came to finding harmony as a couple. Like Camilla Parker-Bowles, they were both Cancer sign, but it was their moon signs that complicated things. Pointing to Charles' Taurus moon, Frank says, "It's very fixed. It is very fixed. Very constant. Diana, on the other hand, had an Aquarius moon. The Aquarius moon is very human oriented, someone who tries to move with the times. The two were really quite different."

Astrology ultimately could not save the royal marriage, but it was still a comfort to Diana. 'She understood astrology and it meant something to her. She wanted to know what was going on in the stars and what the general celestial frequencies were."
