Prince William Does Not Consider Feud with Prince Harry a "Priority," Royal Expert Says
Prince William and Prince Harry's infamous feud (opens in new tab) is unlikely to end anytime soon, according to one royal expert.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, who runs the website To Di For Daily (opens in new tab), recently weighed in on the brothers' ongoing tension, and unlike some royal experts, she is not super hopeful that Will and Harry (opens in new tab) in the near future not super-expect them to mend their rift. Not only that, she says she doubts the brothers are even actively focused on repairing their relationship at this point.
According to the Mirror (opens in new tab), "I'm still not convinced that a reconciliation is imminent. I don't believe that reconciliation with Prince Harry is a priority for Prince William."
As for Harry, Scofield says he and Meghan Markle (opens in new tab) are probably only focused on survival and not thinking much about the feud at this point.
"Prince William is trying to support his family through the death and scandal, while Prince Harry seems to be focused on financially beneficial projects," she explained.
Several royal experts and commentators have speculated that recent royal tragedies and milestones (specifically, the death of Prince Philip earlier this year (opens in new tab) and the birth of Harry and Meghan's daughter, Lilibet (opens in new tab) this summer) may help Harry and William get back together He speculates that it will help, but Scofield sees it differently.
"Deaths, births, memorial services, we look at all of these as new beginnings or opportunities for new relationships, but in reality," she said, "all of these important moments are happening in the midst of the Sussex PR tornado that is wreaking havoc on the Royal Family! " While you are still picking up the pieces, it is hard to look past some of the recent revelations," she said.
