Given his longtime friendship and professional relationship with Ben Affleck (opens in new tab) and our collective obsession with rekindled romance, it's not the least bit surprising that people ask Damon about the Affleck-Jennifer Lopez (opens in new tab) reunion Not surprisingly, when the topic (inevitably) came up in a recent interview on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show, the actor deftly addressed it.

"You're very happy for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez," co-host Jess Cagle said, broaching the subject (per People (opens in new tab))." I know you love being asked about that."

Damon's answer struck the perfect tone of trollish sarcasm.

"Yes, I do. But what else am I supposed to do? I hate true love. It sucks."

"Yes, they do. Yeah, I don't want anything from them, but it's a struggle."

This is not the first time Damon has been asked about Affleck and Lopez (opens in new tab). Damon is currently making the rounds of the press promoting his new film Still Water, and was also asked about the relationship in Extra (opens in new tab).
