Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, posts sweet anniversary tribute
Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (opens in new tab), celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Saturday, and Mapelli Mozzi shared a sweet tribute to his wife to mark the occasion. The couple had a private ceremony on July 17, 2020, at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park.
Mapeli Mozzi posted a candid photo of the couple on Instagram, writing, "I can't believe it's been a year. Every second of every day since then has been filled with joy, happiness, laughter, and love. You are the kindest, loveliest, most beautiful person in the world. Thank you for every second. You are wonderful!
Beatrice and Mapeli Mozzi announced their engagement in September 2019, and originally planned a grand ceremony at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace in May 2020, followed by a reception at Buckingham Palace. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the plans were scrapped and the wedding was eventually held at All Saints' Chapel with 20 guests, including the Queen, Prince Philip, and Beatrice's father, Prince Andrew, watching.
In May of this year, the palace announced that Beatrice is expecting her first child (opens in new tab) with her husband, due this fall." Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very happy to announce that they are expecting a baby this fall. The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news," the official Instagram account @theroyalfamily posted.
