Britney Spears Calls Out Father and Sister in Emotional Instagram Post About Conservatorship

Britney Spears (opens in new tab) continues to speak out about her conservatorship.

On Saturday, the 39-year-old singer posted an emotional message on Instagram about the situation and relatives, including her father Jamie Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears (opens in new tab), who have brought up "humiliating moments from her past." She blamed a documentary program.

The message was captioned with an image that read, "Take me as I am or kiss my ass, eat shit, and step on Legos." In it, Spears said, among other things, that "this conservator has killed my dreams," and that she has no intention of performing on stage again anytime soon.

Spears also wrote in a post specifically referring to her father and sister, "My so-called support system has hurt me deeply. I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards ceremony and performed a remix of one of my songs," she wrote of Jamie Lynn (opens in new tab)."

The full text of Britney's post follows:

"To those who chose to criticize my dance video: ...... Look, I am not going to be performing on stage anytime soon where my father is dealing with what I wear, say, do, and think! I have been doing so for the past 13 years ... . I would much rather share a YES video from my living room than be on a stage in Las Vegas surrounded by people I can't even shake hands with and get a marijuana contact high! And I'm not going to put on thick makeup and try to get on stage again, and I can't remix my songs for years, or do a production where I have to beg my fans to put new songs on my shows...... So I quit: !!!! I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed a remix of one of my songs! My so called support system hurt me deeply! This consadre has killed my dreams ...... So all I have is hope, and hope is the only thing in this world that is so hard to kill: ...... Yet people are still trying: !!!! I never liked it when documentaries brought up humiliating moments from the past .... I'm past it and always have been! And those women who say it's weird that I still have hope in fairy tales: ...... Fuck you! Like I said: ...... Hope is all I have now: ...... I'm lucky I post anything at all: ...... If you don't like what you see, just unfollow me: ...... Hope is the most vulnerable and fragile of all! I'm going to go read some fairy tales now! If you don't want to see my precious ass dancing in your living room or not up to your standards ...... Go read a fucking book!"
