Britney Spears Calls Out Aides Who Publicly Supported Her to "Save Face"

Britney Spears (opens in new tab) is speaking out about the way people close to her have responded to her conservatorship battle. Specifically, the 39-year-old star is calling out how some people in her life did not show up for her when she was suffering in silence.

In an Instagram post (opens in new tab), Spears wrote about how this kind of behavior makes her feel, but did not name anyone, instead describing only those who are "closest" to her and "those you love most." Nevertheless, Singer made it clear that she knew who the people the post was referring to were and pleaded with them to stop speaking publicly about her situation.

The singer shared a message on the Instagram grid with an image caption that read, "Never forget those who ignored you when you needed them and those who helped you before you asked."

Read Spears' emotional caption in full below:

"There is nothing worse than when people close to you who didn't show up for you, whatever that is, post about your situation and speak righteously in support: ...... Nothing is worse than that !!!! How dare the people you love the most not say anything ...... Would they have reached out and lifted me up then! Did they reach out to me when I was drowning? If you are reading this and know who you are and ...... If you have the nerve to say anything about my situation, you are just trying to save your own face in public! I'll say it again: ...... No ......! If you are going to post something .... Don't be so far from being right that it's not funny .... Have a nice day PS If you are reading this today and can relate ....... I am sorry because I know what it is like ... ... And I send you my love? !!!!"
