Zendaya stuns in color-blocked Moschino short suit at "Space Jam" premiere

Just a few weeks after her tribute to Beyonce at the BET Awards (opens in new tab), Zendaya is on the red carpet again: at the premiere of A New Legacy. As reported by British Vogue (opens in new tab), the actress, who plays Laura Bunny in the reimagined "Space Jam," wore a color-blocked short suit from the Moschino Resort 2022 collection, with Bulgari jewelry and white Pointed toe heels completed the look. And of course, she looked stunningly beautiful.

Stylist Lo Roach revealed on Instagram that Zendaya's look was inspired by Laura Bunny herself. Don't tell me you're Laura Bunny, tell me you're Laura Bunny," Lo Roach wrote, sharing a video of Zendaya alongside snaps of her character in a colorful basketball uniform.

Zendaya spoke to Entertainment Weekly (opens in new tab) about taking on the role of Laura Bunny, revealing that she "grew up" on the original 1996 film." That's kind of a big deal. It's like, 'Wow, it's an iconic character. ' Because I got a call from Ryan Coogler, the producer of the film. So when he called me, I was like, 'You're going to say yes to anything you say. And when he told me about it, I thought, 'Whoa, this is a big deal'"

. [There is] a spiritual connection between Laura and Zendaya in this movie, and I think my voice is perfect for the new version of Laura," she continued. 'So I felt very fortunate that they wanted to work with me.'

"It was a nice little role, so there was definitely pressure, but it could have been worse. So it wasn't too heavy on my shoulders," Zendaya added. But it was a really special experience, and the wonderful director Malcolm [D. Lee] took the lead and told me what he wanted me to do. And I really enjoyed it."
