Lopez herself, her 13-year-old son Max, and Affleck's oldest son, 15-year-old Violet, were not present for the outing.

Earlier this month, Lopez, Affleck, Emme, Max, and Samuel spent the day at Universal Studios in Hollywood, People notes. And in June, Affleck had a family dinner with Lopez, her sister Linda Lopez, Emme, and Max (opens in new tab). All of this suggests that Bennifer's family has a pretty great bond.

A source told People as much last month (opens in new tab), sharing that Max and Emme, whom Lopez shares with ex Marc Anthony, are "getting to know Ben a little better." The source added, "Everything seems to be going smoothly. It's clear that Jennifer is serious about Ben. I haven't seen her this happy in a long time."

Another insider shared similar sentiments on "Entertainment Tonight" (open in new tab), revealing that "J.Lo and Ben's family are very close." Furthermore, Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner (mother of Violet, Serafina, and Samuel) says she and Lopez "can tell he is happy."
