Britney Spears may retire, manager announces in resignation letter
Britney Spears' manager Larry Rudolph, who has worked for Spears since the 1990s, has submitted his resignation, claiming that Spears is considering retirement. In a letter to her father, Jamie Spears, and court-appointed co-custodian Jodi Montgomery, Rudolph said he last had contact with Spears more than two and a half years ago, when she told him she was considering an "indefinite work hiatus" and that he had since heard she was planning to officially retire She stated. And as her manager, I believe it is in Britney's best interest that I resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed"

At a court hearing last month, Spears asked the judge to end her 13-year "abusive" conservatorship (open in new tab), saying she was forced to perform and given the mood stabilizer lithium against her will. Spears also said she wanted to get married and have another child, but was prevented by the conservator from having her IUD removed.
Last week, documents were filed (opens in new tab) denying Spears' November request to remove her father, Jamie Spears, from her conservatorship. Asset management firm Bessemer Trust was approved as co-conservator, but as the Guardian reported, the firm has since petitioned to be removed from Spears' case (opens in new tab).
