Tweet from a royal fan who ran into Kate Middleton and Prince Louis while playing in Hyde Park.
Kate Middleton (open in new tab) is taking an active role in helping her youngest son, Prince Louis (open in new tab), learn to ride a bike.
In a Twitter thread posted on June 30, Maylene Ramey (open in new tab), co-founder and creative director of the tennis-focused program Outside the Ball (open in new tab), was out in London's Hyde Park when the royal and shared a story of a "literal encounter" with the royal family.
In a series of five tweets, Ramey wrote:
Now, you might be thinking, "But you said it was Prince Louis, and Ramey's tweet *clearly* says it was George." The exact correction as to which royal child was sprinting on the bike was made shortly thereafter in an exchange with a fellow royal fan who pointed out that 7-year-old George would have been at school when Ramey encountered the royal.
"I bet Louis, not George," wrote Twitter user @LadyParky79 (opens in new tab). 'He would have gone to school.
"Oh! Didn't realize it, everything happened so fast I was hoping someone who saw them would tweet about it and confirm," Ramey replied. 'I would love to know!'
