Lipreader reveals Prince Harry's reaction to seeing Princess Diana's statue for the first time

Prince Harry (open in new tab) made a rare trip home to the UK this week for the unveiling of a bronze statue in memory of his late mother, Princess Diana.

And according to professional lip-readers, the Duke of Sussex was very pleased with the workmanship of the memorial, a bronze statue by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley (open in new tab).

When Harry and his brother Prince William (opens in new tab) removed the cloth covering the bronze statue, according to professional lip-reader Jeremy Freeman, Harry said, "Wow! Isn't it amazing?" he said, stunned (from the Mirror (opens in new tab)).

According to Freeman, William said, "Oh my God. Okay. Okay."

According to Freeman, Harry's response was awe-inspiring, with the Duke of Sussex repeating "amazing" and then smiling and saying, "This is spectacular."

Harry and William's reaction to the monument was captured on camera at the unveiling ceremony in the Sunken Gardens of Kensington Palace (opens in new tab). The Princess Diana Monument is located in the Royal Gardens, where 4,000 flowers are planted, including Princess Diana's personal favorite, the forget-me-not.
