In the wake of the "Friends" reunion (open in new tab), the sitcom's stars reflect on their time on the show and the guest actors who were not so good to work with. Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, and Courteney Cox were interviewed on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, and Aniston revealed that one male actor did not seem thrilled to be on set.
"Interestingly, the man apologized for his behavior many years later, but he just said, 'Honestly, I was nervous and I wasn't in the best shape,'" Aniston began, as People reports (opens in new tab), "and the actor irritated her He explained why he was irritated." It was as if he was too "over the top" to appear on the sitcom."
"I remember when we were doing a network run-through, the network and the producer just laughed at us. And this guy said, 'We're just listening to them and laughing at their jokes. It's ridiculous, it's not even funny.' ' Your attitude is not what we are trying to achieve. This is a wonderful, warm place, and you come into our home and ruin it.'"
Fans of Dr. Richard Burke need not worry-the actor in question was not Tom Selleck, Aniston revealed. After joking that "you just don't know how cruel and unusual he is," she added, "Tom has a halo of angels on his head.
