Meghan Markle reveals that Archie Harrison is "voracious" about reading.

Princess Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, appeared on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday (opens in new tab) to discuss her best-selling children's book, The Bench. She also gave listeners a very tender update on her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who inspired her relationship with his father, Prince Harry. Princess Meghan dedicated "The Bench" to Archie and Harry (opens in new tab), writing, "For the man and boy who makes my heart pump."

Archie is a big fan of his mother's work, Princess Meghan revealed in Weekend Edition. 'Archie loves the book. Archie loves books. When we read to him, he says, 'One more time, one more time. But now he loves 'The Bench' and we can say, 'Mommy wrote this for you,' and it feels wonderful."

Adorable!

In the same interview, Princess Meghan shared the first Father's Day gift (opens in new tab) she gave Prince Harry after Archie's birth." Like many of us would do, we would think about what to get him," Meghan said. And I just wanted something sentimental and a place that would be a little home base with my son."

Megan wrote a poem for Harry and inscribed it on a plaque behind the bench. The poem read, "This is your bench / This is where life begins / You and our son / Our baby, our kin." And the poem later became a bestseller for the Duchess of Sussex!
