May we take a look at perhaps the cutest piece of content ever shared on the World Wide Web? When Carvia James Union Wade, daughter of Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade (opens in new tab), finds a bee on the ground, she immediately starts a conversation with it and cares for its well-being.
"Bee!" Kaavia says when she finds an insect, before crouching down beside it.
"Hello, bee! Are you okay?" Then, to emphasize her cuteness, she reassures the bee before giving it some solid advice. 'Don't worry! Go with your mommy and daddy!" Watch, cry, and watch again below:Union and Wade spoke with People (opens in new tab) last month about Kaavia (opens in new tab), which inspired them to write the children's book Shady Baby. 'People see themselves in Kaav. Some days you just don't feel like setting your hair," Wade said. Wade said.
"The shade is her super power. Because when Kaavia looks at you, it's either because you don't respect her boundaries or something is going on that she doesn't like," Union said. Union said, "It's about her being free to be this wonderful, dynamic, sometimes gruff, sometimes loving black girl when the world is not so kind to black girls and women."
"I was raised to assimilate. 'I was raised to assimilate. But we raise our children to know that they are worthy of our presence. We don't want them to change form in order to gain someone else's approval or acceptance. We want them to be who they are."
