Ben Affleck "gets to know" Jennifer Lopez's twins Emme and Max.

This is so sweet: Ben Affleck is reportedly bonding with Jennifer Lopez's children, Emme and Max, after reuniting with his ex-fiancee. The twins are 13 years old and "are slowly getting to know Ben," a source told People (opens in new tab). Emme and Max are "eager to start fresh in Los Angeles," the source added, following recent reports that Lopez is looking at schools and properties in the area.

"Everything seems to be going well," the source continued.

"It's clear that Jennifer is serious about Ben. She hasn't looked this happy in a long time."

On Sunday, Affleck joined Lopez at a family dinner (open in new tab) at Nobu in Malibu to celebrate the birthday of J.Lo's sister Linda Lopez. Emme and Max were also in attendance, and onlookers said the group had a pretty nice evening." They enjoyed a Sunday family dinner together," another source told People.

"Ben and [Lopez's] kids seemed comfortable together," the source said. 'The kids kept chatting with Ben. Ben was very nice. He was smiling and laughing. They ordered a lot of food and shared it. In addition, "Jen and Ben sat next to each other and were very friendly," the source added, observing, "They were holding hands under the table."

Last week, Us Weekly reported that Lopez is planning to move from Miami to Los Angeles (open in new tab), where Affleck lives. According to the magazine, J.Lo has already looked at homes in the area, as well as schools for Emme and Max. A source said, "Jennifer is looking forward to moving back to Los Angeles for a fresh start."
