Katie Holmes is back with another summer denim look! After a weekend outing to New York City in light-wash straight-leg jeans (opens in new tab), she went for a walk on Monday in a pair of deep blue baggy jeans with a medium-high waist and wide flared legs.

She paired the jeans with a relaxed white tank, layered with a necklace and accessorized with green socks, white and gray Re/Done sneakers, and black shades (and a mask, naturally). Holmes, who wore her hair in a topknot, carried two bags: a brown leather saddle bag, clearly one of her recent favorites; and a brown leather saddle bag, clearly one of her recent favorites.

On Saturday, Holmes paired light-wash denim with a vintage-inspired T-shirt from Electric Lady Studios, the iconic New York recording venue founded by Jimi Hendrix. He accented the look with cream socks, black Gucci loafers, and a saddle bag in the same brown color.

In other Holmes news, Alex Rodriguez made headlines last week when he was spotted leaving her New York apartment shortly after splitting from his ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. As is often the case, however, there is a much less exciting explanation behind this sighting. In fact, A-Rod was looking for a new apartment and checking out building options in Holmes.

"They have never met," Rodriguez's agent told Page Six (opens in new tab), and Holmes's publicist told E! News (opens in new tab), "She doesn't know him." In addition, a friend of Rodriguez's told Page Six, "Alex was looking at different apartments and didn't realize it was Katie's building." He explained. The rumor was denied.
