Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, helps after the birth of baby Lilibet.

A major bonus of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's move to California is their proximity to Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland. Ragland has provided invaluable support to the two new parents since the arrival of her second grandchild, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, an insider told Us Weekly (opens in new tab).

"They have been sent many lovely gifts from friends and family, including Doria, but the most special thing she has provided is her time," the inside source said. Ragland is helping to care for baby Lili and new brother Archie Harrison at the Sussex couple's Montecito home, the source revealed." Megan is very grateful to have a mother she can count on, and Harry adores her."[3

Ragland continued to support her daughter and son-in-law after the birth of her first grandchild, Archie, in 2019, traveling to England for Archie's birth and staying for several weeks afterward. But it must be especially lovely for mother and daughter to no longer have to make the long plane trip! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go call my own mother.

Us Weekly insiders also shared the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's joy after baby Lili's arrival, saying she is "more perfect" than her proud parents expected." They are so in love with her and she is absolutely beautiful. 'She is like Harry and Meghan combined. I can't wait to see the first pictures.
