In summer baby pictures from long ago, you would always see the inevitable 80s polka-dot swimsuit, or the impossibly frilly swimsuit, or the swimsuit that prominently features "The Little Mermaid". Not so the fate of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's daughter, Kai! (Opens in new tab) Hadid posted a series of truly adorable and sharply chic photos on Instagram on Thursday, in which the supermodel and her daughter are twins in swimwear from cult brand Frankies Bikinis. Accept it, people: this soon-to-be 9-month-old baby has, and will continue to have, a better wardrobe than you.

In the first photo, Hadid is glowing in the sun in a green checkered bikini top; in the second, she is holding baby Kai, who is wearing a custom-made swimsuit, presumably of the same pattern. And in the third, Kai is sitting on a towel in a very cool suit (with her back to the camera, as per Hadid and Malik's policy regarding photos of their daughter)."
