Sophie Turner dyes her hair red again and Sansa Stark is reborn.

As a ginger myself, Sophie Turner has always been one of my favorite honorary members of our most esteemed club, so it is with great pleasure that I welcome her back to the fellowship! Turner and her husband Joe Jonas (open in new tab) were spotted at Sunday's Atlanta Braves-Los Angeles Dodgers game at Atlanta's Truist Park. Turner's hair, which had been blonde after "Game Thrones," had reverted to Sansa Stark's red!

Turner later shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram Story, giving a second glimpse of her return to red. (Unfortunately, the highly covetable Olivia Rodrigo merchandise she wears (opens in new tab) is sold out.) Welcome back, Sophie! Doesn't it feel wonderful to be a ginger?

According to Elle (opens in new tab), Turner dyed her hair for an upcoming role: playing Margaret Ratliff, the adopted daughter of killer Michael Peterson, in HBO's true-crime drama The Staircase. Colin Firth will play Peterson and Toni Collette will play his wife Kathleen, Deadline (opens in new tab) reports. Michael was charged with the murder of Kathleen, who was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in 2001. The case raised new questions about the death of Elizabeth Ratliff, Margaret's mother, a friend of the Petersons who was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in 1985.

The Staircase is based on a 2004 documentary series of the same name (opens in new tab). The upcoming drama, by Antonio Campos (Devil All the Time) and Maggie Cohn (American Crime Story), boasts a stellar cast: in addition to Turner, Firth, and Colette, Rosemarie DeWitt plays Kathleen Peterson's sister Candace Zamperini, and Parker Posey will play assistant district attorney and prosecutor Freda Black. And I play the over-invested viewer number 18247357.
