A friend of Meghan Markle's has revealed the contents of her upcoming children's book, The Bench.

Meghan Markle's (opens in new tab) children's book The Bench (opens in new tab) will soon be released, and royal fans got a special peek inside.

The Duchess of Sussex (opens in new tab) sent advance copies of the book to close friends this week, and one of them, photographer Gray Malin (opens in new tab), did the rest of the royal-obsessed crowd a big favor on Thursday on his Instagram story People (opens in new tab) reported that he shared a snap from the book.

According to a photo Marin shared on her Instagram Story, an early copy of "Bench" was accompanied on the front by a note from the office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex: "With compliments from the office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. On behalf of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, please enjoy this advance copy."

But even more special was the note on the inside cover, which Marin revealed was in Dame Meghan's own handwriting.

"Dear Gray, From one parent to another - love from my family to yours..." Princess Meghan wrote in the note and signed it "As ever, Meghan."

The page Meghan signed included something special - an illustration of her husband and son, Prince Harry and Archie Harrison, by the book's Caldecott Award-winning artist, Christian Robinson (opens in new tab).

Marin shared her love and support for Meghan in a short video caption for the book, saying, "I got the royal mail. Congrats on the new book, M!"

"Bench" (opens in new tab) will be released on June 8 and focuses on the bond between father and son from a mother's perspective.
