Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their second child, a daughter (opens in new tab), on Friday, June 4, and officially announced the news on Sunday, June 6. In the same birth announcement, the couple revealed that their daughter's name is Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The baby was named after the Queen and the late Princess Diana.

"The name Lili is after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen, and her family nickname is Lilibet," the couple wrote in a statement (opens in new tab).

"Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, the Princess of Wales.
