Meghan Markle gives birth to her second child.
Today's timeline needs a palate cleanser: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially welcomed their second child. The couple announced the news in a statement, saying that Meghan gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Friday, June 4 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.
The baby's name is Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor! Meghan and Harry named their daughter after the Queen and Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.

"It is with great pleasure that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, welcome their daughter, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, into the world. Lili was born on Friday, June 4 at 11:40 a.m. in the confidence of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.
She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Both mother and child are healthy and accustomed to living at home.
Lili was named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen. Her middle name, Diana, was given in honor of her beloved late grandmother, the Princess of Wales.
The couple also has a two-year-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The Duke and Duchess thank you all for your warm wishes and prayers as they enjoy this special time as a family."
