Naomi Campbell Becomes a First-Time Mom: 'No More Love'
Supermodel, 90s icon, and now mom! Naomi Campbell announced on Instagram Tuesday that she has become a mom for the first time." A beautiful little blessing chose me to be her mother," Campbell penned, along with a sweet photo of her hugging her newborn's tiny feet.
She continued: "I am so honored to have this sweet soul in my life ...... There are no words to describe the lifelong bond I share with you, my angel. There is no greater love."
Celebrities from Sophie Turner to Lily Aldridge congratulated the new mother within minutes of the news breaking. Zoe Saldana wrote, "❤️❤️❤️ Oh my, congratulations! How happy you are!!!" and Marc Jacobs said, "Oh my god!!!!" commented! Today is the day? I really can't believe it. How lucky she is! What a wonderful mother you are going to be. Blessings to you all. ❤️❤️❤️"
The soon-to-be 51-year-old (her birthday is May 22) has been asked many times over the years if she was considering becoming a mother; as People notes (opens in new tab), in May 2017, Campbell told Evening Standard ( (opens in new tab) that she definitely wants to have children and hinted that she is open to surrogacy and other options (opens in new tab). 'I've always thought about having children,' she said. 'But now that science is so advanced, I think I can do it whenever I want.'
