Meghan Markle (opens in new tab) looks ahead to the long-term effects of the coronavirus pandemic and how it will shape her daughter's future.
Although she was unable to attend Global Citizen's Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World (opens in new tab), Meghan, who co-chaired the event with her husband Prince Harry recorded a video message. In her speech, the Duchess of Sussex described how the pandemic has not affected people equally. In particular, she emphasized that women, especially women of color, have been hit harder by the pandemic than other groups, and the impact this will have on future generations of women in general and women of color in particular.
