Irina Shayk strongly appeals for denim chaps

Irina Shayk knows how to make a street style statement.

On Tuesday, the model was spotted out in New York City wearing a mask with a pair of denim chaps-like pants and Dr. Martens derby shoes. For those unfamiliar with this design, chaps are traditionally a belt/legging hybrid that originated in Spain and are perfectly made to withstand the trials and tribulations of horseback riding. But Irina's paneled jeans from Vivienne Westwood's Fall 2021 collection (open in new tab) are designed to look just like the popular equestrian style.

The mother of one paired her unreleased zip-detail pants with a sold-out mesh bodysuit from SKIMS and a '90s-style leather jacket from Parisian label Nour Hammour (opens in new tab). For a pop of color, she chose red translucent sunglasses by The Attico from Linda Farrow's collection and the popular Cylinder bag by Manu Atelier. The look is relatively understated, but definitely makes a statement.

Sheikh has routinely kept her style game at 100 over the past year, when most people could barely change out of their pajamas. Her most recent outfit includes a vintage T-shirt that pays homage to pop icon Britney Spears (which we can only assume is a signal that this catwalk fixture will be supporting the star during her ongoing conservatorship hearing). Irina pulled out an oversized DMX t-shirt to pay tribute to the rapper, who passed away earlier this month. Thankfully, the pups were kind enough to photograph each and every one of these looks.
