Prince Harry reportedly feels "guilty" for not saying goodbye to Prince Philip in person.

Prince Harry is mourning the death of his grandfather Prince Philip, who died Friday at age 99 (opens in new tab). The duke, who now lives in California with Duchess Meghan Markle and son Archie, is reportedly "really upset" by Philip's death, with one source telling Us Weekly (opens in new tab), "Harry is feeling guilty that he wasn't there to say goodbye to Prince Philip in person. Currently, plans are being made for Prince Philip's funeral, and another source told Us Weekly (opens in new tab) that the queen hopes Prince Harry will be able to attend. Buckingham Palace also issued the following statement announcing the passing of Prince Philip and that the royal family mourns his passing:

"It is with deep sadness that Her Majesty the Queen has announced the passing of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. The Royal Family joins the rest of the world in mourning the loss of His Royal Highness Prince Philip.
