"I was once in a room alone with Princess Di at a party. Somehow we found ourselves in this library, and I don't think I could stand it in 15 minutes," Buffett said. 'I couldn't remember my name, I couldn't think of what to say.'

At the second party, held "just a few moments before" Diana's death in a car accident in August 1997, Buffett sat across the table from the royal family.
