Nanny of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis banned from saying a word

Kate Middleton and Prince William's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are being cared for by Maria Teresa Turrion Bolaro, one of the most highly trained nannies in Britain. Borraro studied at Norland College in Bath, internationally renowned for training childcare professionals, and was hired by the Cambridges when their oldest son George was a few months old, the Mirror reports (opens in new tab). When not in captivity, he usually lives with the family at Kensington Palace and travels with them on royal tours and private holidays.

According to author Louise Herren, Bolaro's formal training means that there are certain words she would never say to the Cambridge children. Helen, who spent a year researching in Norland for her documentary, told The Mirror that the university forbids the word and instructs trainees to call their charges by name or call them children. 'The word child is forbidden. It is out of respect for the individual children," Helen said.

Helen told the Mirror that Cambridge Kids children are likely to be at home with their parents and boleros, or living as normal a life as literal royalty can lead. 'If you look at Princess Catherine when she's out in public, she's very hands-on. Her relationship with Maria is very close, and I imagine they cooperate greatly in the care of the children."

"I have spoken to nannies who have worked for other royal families, and life is quite normal," the author continued. They "get up, have breakfast, go to school, and wear their uniforms whether they like it or not.
