Chrissy Teigen speaks candidly about her sadness at the upcoming due date of Jack's birth.
Chrissy Teigen shared her grief in a candid Instagram post (opens in new tab) as the due date of her son, Jack, whom she lost late in her pregnancy last September, approaches. Teigen shared a behind-the-scenes photo of her and husband John Legend's music video for "Wild," which was released in August and announced the couple's pregnancy. Teigen wrote, "I don't know if I can watch that video again without sobbing."
"I was 10 weeks and crazy happy," Teigen captioned a photo from the video shoot." I knew the video would take a bit to get together, so I thought it would be cute to finally share our news with the world via the old classic hand over tummy trick. For the next 10 weeks, I couldn't imagine what would happen."
"I don't know if I can watch that video again without crying, but I hope he feels my tears and knows that we miss him so much. If he was like Luna and Miles, I would be hugging him as we do this," she continued.
"I regret not seeing his face when he was born. I was so afraid of seeing him in my nightmares that I forgot to see him in my dreams. I hurt every day with that remorse," Teigen wrote. 'This month has been a painful memory and honestly, I thought the worst was over, but I guess life and emotions don't always go according to schedule.'
Teigen thanked her fans with a touching caption, "I love you guys to pieces and appreciate all the support and love. I firmly believe that energy and healing travels through the night sky. Jack, I love you so much. I miss you very, very much."
