Teigen said the aftermath of her latest surgery was more difficult than previous surgeries. 'Usually I'm very good after surgery, but ...... This time it was tough. My whole abdomen was numb. But compared to the pain of labor and endometriosis, it's still really good," she added.

Teigen announced the surgery on Twitter on Wednesday, noting that her son Jack, whom she lost late in her pregnancy last year, was due this week. She tweeted (open in new tab), "My period pains this month are just like baby kicks," and showed a video of her belly pulsing."

In a touching Instagram post, Teigen spoke candidly about her grief as her due date approached (opens in new tab). She wrote, "If he was anything like Luna or Miles, I would be holding him right now as I do this.

"I regret not seeing his face when I was born. I was so afraid of seeing him in my nightmares that I forgot to see him in my dreams. That remorse hurts me every day," Teigen continued. 'It's been a painful memory this month, and honestly, I thought the worst was over, but life and emotions don't always go according to schedule.'
