Elizabeth Chambers talks about her ex-husband Armie Hammer's social networking scandal.

TV host and bakery owner Elizabeth Chambers made a lengthy Instagram post (open in new tab) in response to social media allegations against her ex-husband Armie Hammer, writing, "I had no idea there was so much I (didn't) know."

Hammer recently canceled her role in the film "Shotgun Wedding," starring Jennifer Lopez.

In her post, Chambers stated: "For the past few weeks I have been trying to process everything that has happened. I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated."

"Heartbreak aside," she continued, "I am listening and will continue to listen and educate myself on such a sensitive issue. I didn't realize how much I didn't know."

Chambers said she would support "anyone who is a victim of assault or abuse" and urged "anyone who has experienced this kind of pain to seek the help they need to heal."

She asked for "continued kindness, respect, and care for our children and me as we find ways to move forward." She then said she intends to focus on her children, her work, and "healing during this incredibly difficult time."

In a statement to Variety (opens in new tab), Hammer called the allegations, including unverified Instagram messages against him, "bullshit": "I will not respond to these bullshit claims, but given the malicious and false online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience leave my children behind for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic"

It is unclear who will replace Hammer in Shotgun Wedding. A representative for the film told Variety that they "support his decision" to step down.

Hammer and Chambers divorced last summer after 10 years of marriage. They announced their divorce in identical Instagram posts (opens in new tab) that said, "Remaining co-parents and dear friends is our priority."

At the time, a source told People (opens in new tab) that the couple "both still love each other very much and have always been a close family. I know that their main focus now is their children and making sure nothing changes for them."

The source added, "They are still very much in love with each other and have always been a very close family.
